About Our Nursing Director
SR. LYN LEAHY
Sister Lyn Leahy, Nursing Director of The Pathology Foundation, completed her studies in Nursing at The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne, Australia. During the following years working as a blood collector, Sister Leahy developed a unique and highly effective Venepuncture technique for the purpose of improving the quality of service in the phlebotomy industry.
In the years that followed, The Pathology Foundation was established, resulting in Venepuncture courses being conducted all over Australia which included the provision of Venepuncture training for thousands of Medical Students in most Universities across the country.
"Our courses produce quality blood collectors that can draw blood from an invisible vein, whilst ensuring minimal patient discomfort and the provision of a very high standard of patient care." - Sister Lyn Leahy.
